Stencil Workshop
w/ Ode6ixe Comunidade Criativa
Artistic Experimentation and Creation Workshop to learn and pratice Stencil, one of the possible graffiti techniques. During 4 sessions, 2 invited artists from Ode6eixe Comunidade Criativa will share their experience and challenge the participants into a criative process where each one will be able to test their own habilities. Experiencing a cooperative work the participants will then be guided into producing a colective work in a public place in Aljezur.

In between shapes and animated stories - Ilustration and Animation Workshop
An invitation to get inspired by Oral Local Tradition and other stories told by local people and animate them through drawing, cutouts and objects.
Guided by Camila Beirão dos Reis and António Castelo, this will be a workshop made out of simple tools to create a short animation.

He is a videographer, reporter, and documentarian, founder of the magazine Qi News and the NGO Aidnature. He has been awarded for his documentary films and awareness campaigns for nature conservation and human rights, such as the documentary “A Ilha do Príncipe” and the campaign “Traduz-te em Força”.
Over his ten years of work, António Castelo has produced and written documentary films in contexts ranging from the peripheral and marginalized areas of Lisbon to the Iranian deserts, the pristine landscapes of Príncipe Island, and the oppressed theatre groups in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau. His recent journalistic pieces have focused on social issues such as racism, poverty, discrimination, immigration, and human trafficking.
With an academic background in Evolutionary Biology and Evolutionary Psychology, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at Universidade Nova -ISCTE. He has furthered his technical and artistic training through the After Effects Foundation Course at ODD – Digital Entertainment School (2017) and a Digital Photography Course (2010) at the Portuguese Institute of Photography.
Currently, he works as a videographer, capturing, editing, directing, and assembling theatre and performance shows, notably collaborating regularly with the theatre company GRIOT and handling the audiovisual recording and editing of cultural events promoted by Culturgest, the Lisbon City Foundation, and the newly established Cultural Association So Wing.
She attended the Faculty of Fine Arts, studying Communication Design, until 2006, and later the Faculty of Arts of Lisbon, where she completed her degree in Comparative Arts and Cultures in 2010.
Her artistic training includes participation in a Digital Colour Correction course (2010), taught by Richard Câmara; successive courses in traditional animation (2D) (2007; 2004; 1998) and three-dimensional design, led by Fernando Galrito, José Pedro Cavalheiro (Zepe), and Marie Legendre.
From January 2011 to May 2015, she was part of the production team for shows and educational and cultural events at the Music Service of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Since then, she has worked as a freelance professional, collaborating with a wide range of artists, agencies, and cultural entities on many different projects and roles, including production assistant and executive producer, primarily for musical projects, as an artist agent and road manager.
Alongside her production activities, she has developed her artistic practice in drawing—as an illustrator and visual artist—collaborating on artistic projects related to music and with artists such as Luísa Sobral, João Hasselberg, Rogério Charraz, Joana Espadinha, Luís Figueiredo, and the band Cassete Pirata, creating visual content for their album covers and animated videos. She has also worked on science communication projects and documentary filmmaking, as well as producing illustrations from poetic and children’s texts, collaborating with a variety of entities and other authors. In 2022, she published the children's book “Quando a Porta Fica Aberta” (2022), featuring text by Luísa Sobral, for which she provided the illustrations.

Pap-séc is a short show and workshop of physical theatre and illustration playing with a strange language, sounding like foreign. It tells a story of a sad and lonely man, Volet, wishing to be brave but is not, wishing to have company, but has not, being afraid instead, much afraid… Through mouvement, an invented language, music, object and drawings one tells a story over and over in many different ways. And one can always create a new story!
